Centre de Plongée du Bas St-Laurent invites you to discover the incredible wealth of the St.Lawrence estuary aboard its boat, the Mer Veille C. During summer time, various excursions are organized allowing all to live an unforgettable experience! Accompanied with a guide-interpreter, you will deepen your knowledge of the marine environment in apnea. You can choose from:

Expedition with the seals in apnea

• Transport by boat towards the Bic Islands;
• Initiation and discovery of the universe of the seals;
• Interpretation of various species of seals and their way of life.

Night expedition

• Discovery of the bioluminescence (Production of light by the marine organisms);
• Dive light;
• Observation of the marine animal life in its night activities (sea urchins, anemones, crabs, sea sponges, etc.);
• Interpretation of the fauna and the marine flora.

Expeditions on various natural sites of the region

• Observation and interpretation of the fauna and the marine flora (sea urchins, anemones, crabs, sea sponges, etc.);
• Explanations of sea currents (origin, direction and influence on the ecosystem);
